The knitted cat, boating trips and Moranbah

Hallo!
The week after the pig on the spit was just normal. Normal Monday, normal Tuesday, normal Wednesday and even normal Thursday.
Well, actually that's not true. On Thursday, I went with Levi shopping. First, we brought my heavy 9 kg parcel with stuff in it to the post. I sent it alreay over to Germany to hopefully avoid overluggage in the  plane. Then we went just normal shopping and bought a few things, including a really cute and fluffy pyjama for Antonia's 50th birthday party with the motto pyjama party. Levi found a really cool one as well, it definitely suits him. :D

I also finished my big Homeec assignment. Finally. I finihed my backpack which I had to sew and my written report to it and I am really really proud of myself. It looks alright and I am well in time. (:

We stayed here..

On Friday, Levi came to my place after school and he even stayed the night. That was the first event ever of this sort. (Y) Well, we both had big assignments really urgently to do, so we actually worked the majority of the time on the assignments. However, working together on assignments is still better than working alone on assignments. (: We also made brownies and had a really fun dinner with my hostparents.
We continued the whole assignment thing the next day until about lunch time. Then we got picked up by Levi's mum and we both went to the Cameron's place.

After a short packing everything up and having lunch and getting ready, we made our way to Moranbah, where Norm (Levi's dad) is working at the moment. The reasln for this 2-hour drive west? To be with Norma and to have a BBQ with all his mates, with Levi playing the guitar. It was good, I learnt how to peel prawns properly and I had the probably best steamed chicken in my life there. Yumyumyum!
We slept in a Motel, and the next morning, after an early waking up, we were heading home again.

Lunchbreak

For the rest of the day, Levi and I, we mainly worked a little longer on our assignments and I finished my Maths one, yuuhuuu! We also went for a walk and I cooked a pretty yummy Spinach and Tomatoe Quiche for dinner. In the meanwhile, Rachel sewed the first little new pants/overall for my softtoy elephant! He wears pants since his first day, but the old ones are worn out and started to rip open. The damage was unrepearable Rachel, the professional sewer, said and offered to make him new little pants. So I went the other day, and bought three different fabrics for this purpose. The first one is also turned into little pants now. However, it's not quiet finished yet, and some straps, fake-buttons and embellishments are still missing. It so CUTE though!

I also started to knit. I bought this set ages ago that deliveres all the equipment to knit a little black cat. I had no idea how to knit, but I half thought it myself, half rachel helped me with it, and it already looked really really good. (:
Monday, I slept over at Annabelle's place, because on Tuesday, we had our first day of the boating trip. We had a quiet fun night, I kept knitting for my kitten, we tried to watch a movie which didn't load and we talked a lot. It was good. My sleep but, wasn't good at all. It was one of the worst I had in a long time.

However, nect day, boating trip. It was actually the trip of the  non-OP-Marine-Studies-class, but because we are international, we got invited anyway.
First, we had to carry the boats and all teh gear down the boating ramp. There were 6 boats, I was in one with Annabelle and Jakob, the singer from Levi's band. It was really fun, we actually drove the boat on our own and we had to practise to drive eights and how to stop completly at a certain point (just like parking the boast) and how to rescue people who might have fallen over board. Beside of that, we had lunch, fun and a lot of driving. After everything, we had to carry everything up the boat ramp again. :P

What I knitted

No, it was really good, I got lightly sunburned but I was at school in time again, to catch the normal school bus home. Afterwards, I finished my knitting for the cat completly.


Today after school (I handed my Homec assignment finsihed and fixed up in), I built the whole kitten together. It looks a little dodgy, not quiet how it is supposed to be on the instruction sheet, but still quiet cute and I put so much time and effort into it. Ô.o

Tomorrow, Levi and I will go out for dinner together to celebrate our 4th month anniversary a little. :P I'll give the kitten to him as a present, he reckons it's still okay, even if it's not beautiful. :P

Pig-on-a-spit week or the story about the maths assignment

Hello! (: It's quiet a while already since my last post..
Shayna came over last weekend and we went to a gig of Levi's band on Friday night. The following Saturday we went with a couple of friends to a football game of another friend. It was alright, we did everything but watching the game. :P Afterwards, I went for a quick shop with Levi and we got some stuff for school and new fabric for my softtoy. His pants will get changed soon, they are unfixable ripped.. and because softtoy pants are usually not available in shops, they have to be homemade. I bought three different fabrics: a really fluffly and soft darkblue one with white dots, a darkblue one with white little pigs on it and a darkblue one, with shiney dots on it.. that's the Michael Jackson pants, only for the days, elephant wants to be famous. (x

Sunday, Levi came over and we did some stuff I had to do. It was fun and I really enjoyed it. (: I also tought him his first complete verb: sein/ (to) be. He also stayed for dinner at my place, for the first time ever. It was really really good. (: And that was also the first day in a loooooooooooooooooooooong time, that it was actually COLD at nighttime. When I walked Levi outside where he got picked up, I was freezing. HOW much I enjoyed that! Unfortunally, the cold stayed only for a couple of days. It is a lot cooler already than it was in summer, but I am sometimes still sweating.. :/ I can't wait for the German winter, when the weather knows what it wants and everything is completly frozen in the morning..

The week was average. Nothing really exiting happened. I work hard (more or less), had my english exam on Thursday and Friday and don't even care what I'll get in it. Stupid exam. -.-" I got my fourth and hopefully last assignment for this term, in Maths. It should be alright but. (:
Fridy after school, I went shopping with Shayna and Levi. I bought some stuff for my good-bye books and a big parcel-box. I filled it with stuff already, post cards and letters I got while I was here, notbooks for school I already used, soft toys, clothing... just stuff I surely know I wont need anymore while I am here. I got 9 kg together and will send it over on a ahip. I will hopefully prevent any overluggage in the plane (which is ridiculously expensive!) and make my trip home nice and comfortable. I will still have a lot of stuff to bring home though :D And the parcel isn't sent yet. It is still sitting here in my room. So nothing is for sure yet. :P

However, we met Liam (Levi's drummer) in the shopping center and walked all together back to Shayna's place. We placed Monoploy for HOURS but in the end I won and got all the money while everyone else had to morgage their properties all the time. :P YES! I came home with Levi in the morning and we stayed at his place for a little while. Levi was mowing the lawn and I started my maths assignment before we both went to my place. We had a party to go that night, with my hostfamily. My hostfamily's friends had a pig on a spit night. The family has a bog country property and chicken and cows and pigs and dogs and ducks and heaps of trees and plants and and and... anyway, they killed a pig on Friday, did with it whatever you have to do with a dead pig and then grilled it over a fire for a whole day long. It was really really yum and the party was good fun. (: Levi made a BIG difference for me, I had someone to be with and to talk to. (:

Mother's day present 

We slept outside, so actually, we camped. I never thought I would do that again, but it was good, even if I didn't sleep too well actually.

This morning, after coming home, Levi stayed a little longer and we celebrated mother's  day. It's quiet a big thing here and I'm kind of glad that I survived it well. (Y) (: I bought Antonia a soap, a card and a cup. (: An average present, but that was seriously the only thing I could have  thought of. However, Levi left early afternoon and I spent the rest of the day finishing the first half of my maths assignment as well as possible. It's nearly done already, what is really good. (Y)
I had a quick and quiet dinner with my hostfamily and went to do some more jobs before I go to bed now.

Report card and late easter present

Hello everyone!
Just a very short, very quick update. (: I got my report card on Monday. Yeah, it's quiet alright. :P
I also went with Levi to Mount Pleasant on Monday to go shopping. I bought another million photos for the scratch book as Goodbye-presents. But to be honest, I still haven't started yet. :O
I bought a little mothersday present and that's about it I think. Oh, no, I bought two organes for me, as a afternoon snack. I actually ate quiet a lot fruit the last week. I'm such a good girl. :P
Anyway. I did a lot of extra work in school during the breaks on my homeeconimc project and my artwork. So I stay on track and I'm finished with the due date. Levi comes always with me and does not complain at all.. not one single word. Thank you so much bub! :*
Wednesday, I went to Canelands after school to finish my shopping. Levi had guitar lesson and said he coud pick me up on his way home. But then his mum had to work overtime and wasn't finished till 8 pm. Unfortunally, we had the birthday dinner for Adrian's dad at our place and I really didn't want to be too late for that. So I went and asked Gemma if she could maybe take me and Levi with her after work (she works in Canelands). So yeah, that was probably the first time in these 10 months she and I had a long and proper talk. I really enjoyed it and it definitely showed me another side of her.. the diner was alright, nothing really special to be honest.
I also received a litte parcel yesterday! Thank you so much, Iris, for that really cute (and YUMMY) easter present! I am really looking forward to that book! (: :* (And I already ate all the little KINDER-chocholates.. yumyumYUM! ) (:

I think that's about it.
Ah, no! Since Sunday night, I got a red patch in my face. It's between my lip and my nose on my left side and I have no idea what it is or why it is there. It could be a cold sore, but no one really knows and it doesn't look that dangerous that I think I need to go to a doctor and it doesn't hurt anymore either. So I should be right, it just looks funny. :D

Tomorrow, Friday, Shayna will come over to my place and spend the night here as well. What I am going to do after that, I don't know yet. (:Talk soon people!
