Australian Christmas

Hello everyone!

Carissa&I go fishing (: 

I just really want to give you a quick update of what I've done the last few days before the year 2013 is gone.

Platypus! :O

I spent three days with Carissa before Christmas and we went fishing with her dad, but it was on a rive rand not really properly. We've cuaght nothing. But I drove the boat back! :P Beside of that, we went to Finch Hatten Gorge and went swimming there (its a natural swimming spot with ice cold water ^.^) and later on we went to Eungella again and I actually saw two Platypusses! They are SO cute and SO tiny! Ô.o
I came home on early Christmas Eve (that's on the 24) and we had Red Rooster for diner (not really christmassy, but that had to do the job).

On the 25, I had to wake up at 7 am and that is soo early! -.-" I wasnt really allowed to have breakfast because I had to be hungry for lunch. Not fair. When Wade's mum and her boyfriend were here, we opened all our presents. I got soo many and soo cool things! Gemma and Adrian bought me a perfume and a puzzle, Peter and Bianka gave me the movie Dispicable Me (YAY) and a movie card. Wade's mum bought a big pack of Wafers for me (she wants me fat! :P) and my hostparents had an awesome pyjama for me and really nice earrings! My presnt for teh whole family was a foto album with pictures of the camping trip. Well, let's say: it did the job. ^.^

The guest slowly came one after the other and everyone was cooking or drinking until lunch time. We had really much food in the end, hei! And of course I ate too much. OF COURSE. So I had the recover for the next couple oh hourse on the padio and it was warm and I was soo full and I got a little annoyed with everything to be

honest. Ô.o Until we went and played cricket all together in our front yard. That was fun and I actually did something else than sitting end eating. & I managed to ask Wade if he could fix one of the pushbikes for me that I could use it to go to Levi's place without a lift. I went for a little practise ride on the bike up and down the road and found a mango tree on my way.. ^.^

After an awesome shower and a little diner, I opened the two parcels from Germany and had my own little private Christmas in my room (: I got again sooo many cute things! <33 Thank you so much Mum, Klein F, Dady and Iris! (x

Boxing day and the two day after, I was at Levi's place. Him and his dad and I went fishing again and this time it was proper fishing! We were on the sea and we caught a lot, me included. We just had to put the majority of the fish back.. :/ But we kept the biggest ones! & I really like fishing I've decided. ^.^ Levi and I tried to make an german Obstkuchen. Well, it didnt really go like we've planned it, but in the end it was very yummy anyway! ^.^
& we were at Liam's place (the drummer of the band) nearly for whole day and they did something with the new mixer of the band and we went on the fourwheeler and we had a BBQ at nighttime. (:

The nearly last two days of this year I spent at home with my hostfamily. I tried to answer all my Christmas emails and to write this post and I had quiet a lot fun with my hostfamily in the pool and tthe kitchen. :P
Now it's the 31of Dezember and the last day of this lovely year.

The Cameron's will pick me up in a second and I spend first New Year's eve with them and then we go on our holidays to Bisbane and the Goldcoast. I won't have internet for the next 12 days thought. But I am really looking forward to these holidays and I will take heaps of pictures,okay? (:

Yesterday..

Hey people,
let me tell you about yesterday. (:
I woke up early at 8 am because my hostparents and I went to town at about 9am. But the waking up early wasn't that bad to be honest. I survived it.

Shane, Jarrod and Shayna (:

Well, I said to Shayna, Shane and Jarrod that we'll meet in Caneland shopping central at 9am. But because we had to go Gemma's place first to drop her a pillow off and of course, to have a looooong chat with her, I got to Canelands at 10am. Ô.o And then I couldn't find Shane and Shayna. But because yesterday was a beautiful day, I didn't worry about that too much and went into Big W to get the photos I need for the christmas present for my hostfamily, a photo album with photos of the camping trip we've done together in
Oktober 2013. I met Kathleen (the German girl that lives in Australia since 6 years or something like that) at the photo-station in Big W. She got some photos as well and helped me with mine because I didn't know what to do. First point on my shopping list was done.

After that, I found Shane, Shayna and Jarrod outside of Big W and we went to the post office to get my christmas cards on their way. Second and also last point on the shopping list done. :P
The rest of our time we spent together in the food court of Canelands and ate and talked and had fun. ^.^ I tried Crispello for the first time.. yeah it's alright but not as good as Kinder Bueno. :P
Anyway, at about 2pm I got picked up by Antonia and Wade again as they finished their shopping as well and we went home.
Antonia's friend came over with her two little children and gave Antonia a haircut. I asked very politely for a haircut as well, and so I saved my money for a trip to a hairdresser in town. (:

Because Wade was very busy (as usually) yesterday and because I aked if I can help him, he explained to me how to drive the fourwheeler and I freaking went for a ride on my own to get the rubbish bins. :D

Okay, I wrote this post until this point two days ago. :D Anyway, I just try to continue. (: That means, I reversed and I changed the gear and EVERYTHING! Wooow! ^.^

On this day I also received two parcels! One from my lovely mum and sister and one from Iris! OMG and both are christmas presents! Yay, my christmas is save now. Even if my hostfamily won't give me anything big or special and even if the whole day will be really weird for me, I still got the two awesome presents! x) Later on, Gemma and Adrian and the couple they live with came over and we had diner all together. It was surprising good and I had actually a quiet good night and fun. (: That made this day just round and perfect and awesome. (:

The next day, I woke up at about 9am and got ready and started this post here. But I had to stop half way through as Antonia and Wade were leaving and they dropped me off at Levi's place. So I spent my day there with Levi and Liam (the drumer of Levi's band) who was staying with the Camerons until today (Saturday) as his parents were in Sydney. Anyway, Rachel (Levi's mum) bought 6 big and yummy mangos! YUM! First we three and Levi's dad went into town to actually only buy a couple of CDs and to drop something off. In the end it took ages until we were home again because Norman (Levi's dad) was looking

for a special thingy and we went to a thousand places before he got what he wanted. Anyway, we had lunch and the boys worked a little on one of the old cars and OMG you won't believe what I tell you now. I got my first driving lesson! :O Okay, it wasn't official and it was me on the drivers seat, Norman on the passenger side and the two boys in the backseat and on a normal road, but it was awesome! :O Norman told me to go on the passenger side first and he showed me the three paddle thingis and the different gears (but I still don't know what the difference is

between them Ô.o) and that was it. We changed the seats. OMG I was so panicing because I had NO idea what to do or how hard it would be or anything! Ahh! :D But I think I did quiet well for someone who had never driven before. And Norman helped me a lot but I think if I was practising a little now, it wouldn't take long until I could do it on my own. (: Well, we drove up and down the road where the Cameron's live and I am SO proud of myself and I didn't kill anybody and the car is still complete as well. ^.^

Anyway, we did some jobs around the house before we three teenagers and Norman went to the Leap Hotel pub. That is the one and only pub around here and it is actually a nice and open place! We were supposed to just buy some beer and go back, but Norman met a friend and they had a few beers together and it took again ages until we went home. Because it took that long there, we went a little for a sightseeing tour around the pub and found paradise: a mango tree! :P And we came up with the idea that I actually could sleep over at Levi's place. It would have been easier because it means less driving and the plan was that I spend the next day anyway with the Camerons. So we asked all the parents and because the answer was yes, we poped around at my place to get my stuff for a sleepover and to ask my hostparents if they wanted

made and I really had to try that as it is really australian. The first go failed, so we fed the dogs with the beaten egg and started again. We decided to make a real and proper filling but because we used one of the 6 big and real mangos instead of tin mango (what the recipoe wanted to have) we didn't have the syrup. Well, as we had a serious problme now, we used a second one of the big mangos and made mush out of it in the mixer. That went quiet well as a replacement for the syrup. :D

Anyway, in the end we had a lovely pavalova and had it with icecream and chocolate for desert after the BBQ. After diner Levi, Liam and I stayed up a little longer and I decided to be creative with Levi's REALLY fluffy and curly hair. :D So I was. ^.^
In the end we went to bed at 1 am and because this family is not my freaking hostfamily it was really really quiet and nice in the morning. SO I could sleep in until 10am without any noises anywhere and it was
We watched a movie and then it was 5 pm and we had to go to the gig. So we went and then we did pretty much the same thing as last time: set everything up first, then go to subway and then I listened for three hours

(: My hostparents were there as well and especially Antonia loved it! She said that about a hundred times. :P I left with my hostparents then at about 11.30 pm when the band was finished so I couldn't help packing up, but I was really tired..

And because Liam is a very quiet but very nice boy and because his family has mango trees on the property, we went and collected two buckets full of good mangos and one bucket full of half-eaten ones as food for the cows. We even took one bucket full with us home and OMG! Heaven! :O I had heaps and heaps and heaps of mango for lunch. ^.^
Anyway, I had a really good time and I did so much awesome stuff again! Unbelievable! :O
Today I slept until 10 am again even if there were soooo many noises around. I was just too tired to get up earlier :P I had breakfast and the only thing I did today is making the photo album, the christmas present for my hostfamily. But now I am finished and I can be really relaxed. I actually think it got quiet good in the end. (: AND I mowed a aprt of the front yard today. We have one of these lawn mowers you sit on and you have to stear and I did it on my own again and slowly it gets just SO amazing! I drove SO much and so many new things in the last couple of days! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I LOVE AUS! <3

We have a BBQ party thingy tonight and there are already heaps of friends of the family in the kitchen area, I can hear them through my wall. ^.^ Later on, Levi and his parents will come as well. Antonia invited them shortly. But it's Rachel birthday today so they go out for diner and come after that to our place. (:
Tomorrow I'll go to Carissa's place and stay there until Tuesday. Then it's Christmas. SO much cool stuff to do! ^.^

Okay, now it's even after our BBQ party. I had to wait until the photos were uploaded and that took a while and then I was busy talking to one of the people there. So I just left it until now. It was nice, I had a good talk and then the Camerons came over and brought the bucket full of mangos over. :O OMG, they are now at my place and I can eat as MUCH as I want! YAM. :O It  was really nice that they came over and I we had fun I reckon. :P IN the end I also got invited by them to spend New Years with them. Levi and band have a gig somewhere and they stay somewhere over night. Well, I asked straight away Antonia because I made the experience that that is the best and most comfortable way for me. She said 'no worries' and that she will do 'nothing' at New Years anyway. Because I jsut wanted to have it really really sure I asked Wade a little later what he thinks and if that's okay. I also explained that I might feel a little guilty because I am not with my hostfamily on such an important event. But he said that all is good and it is not a big thing because he is at work anyway. So now I spend New Years with the Camerons as well. I will be home on the first of Janurary and the second of Janurary my holidays with them begin. Hahahahaha, that is so cool! :P

Okay just a quick update until the hill of news gets too high again.  Ô.o

And to be honest, I just realized that I can't even remember what I did after that day when I wrote the longest post of my life. Ô.o
I think I just stayed the whole week at home and relaxed and slept a lot and went for some swims in the pool and yes. Levi visited me twice on his way to another friend of his and both times he dropped a mango off! YAM?! :O The first day, it was the Tuesday as far as I can remember, he stayed for maybe one hour or so? And well, we had some fun. ^.^ We ate the mango together and I've made Jam drops on Monday and

we ate some together. (Actually, I also cleaned the pool on Monday for the first time and it was actually quiet cool. The cleaner looks like a huuuuuge vacumcleaner and you have to swim very carefully in the pool around to vacum the complete pool ground. ^.^ Anyway..) And I taught him some German and well, now he knows the alphabet in German until Q. Thats pretty good,hei? (:

Just before Levi had to leave, Wade, Peter and Bianca came back from their over-night-fishing-trip to the reef and we said hello to them. After Levi left, I went for a swim and later on watched the boys preparing the
fish for the freezer.. Ô.o
The next day, Levi just came for a 30-minute-visit and gave me the best mango in my entire life. :O It wasnt ripe though, so I left it next to my window and waited until today with eating. (I'll tell you about that later!). I spent the rest of the time with working on my list I made myself. Heaps of things I had to do before

On Friday, I woke up early (I HATE to wake up early... Ô.o BUt I luckily survived it..) and went with Antonia in the morning when she left for work. She dropped me off at the library where I got picked up by Michaela and her sister. (: Michaela and I watched two movies together and I made her hair and we talked and she had breakfast until her mother dropped us off at Mount P at about 12 o'clock. We went a little bit shopping (I tried hard to tick everything on my shopping list - one of these to-do-list-thingis) and I met a (very Ô.o) good friend (Ô.Ô) of Michaela, Matt. He used to go to North High as well but he's a year older than us, so he finished school this year. Anyway, very nice guy. (:

We three and Shayna and Zac and Zach and Jarrod went to the movies at 3 pm to watch Thor 2. The movie was alright, I haven't seen the first one though. :D Anyway, I slept over at Michaela's place and we had pizza for diner. Or well, we were supposed to have pizza for diner. But Michaela and her mum thought that it was disgusting so we chucked the whole meal in the bin and went to the Italian shop to buy a new diner. I had a very nice Greek salad and for desert a chocolate-chip-cheesecake. Sooo YUM! :O We did our finger and toe nails which was really fun and we watched TV and listened to some music. After all that, we prepared our beds in the other loung room there. I slept on the sofa, the poor Michaela had to sleep on the carpet.. :/
So we just kept watching TV (Or well, it was this music-video channel. So we more listened to music with the music video on the screen) and Michaela was on Skype with Matt (:D) and I
ended up on my phone as well, talking on facebook to some very nice people. (x

Just getting ready to start..

Anyway, at about midnight or so, Michaela's mum came and we had to turn the TV off and I got instantly tired. Ô.o So after a short while we both fell asleep and we woke up the next morning at 9 am, but only because there is no door to the kitchen and living room and Michaela's mum and sister were already really activ. :D First thing I did was having a loooong bathroom sension with music and a shower, a mirror and a toothbrush. Ô.o OMG, I felt soooo much better after that! Michaela and I had breakfast together and said

hello to Matt on facetime again and after a short while, we got dropped of at Mount P again to meet Matt and Jarrod and Shane and Zach there. After a tiny shopping bit, we went to the movies again (because THIS was actually planned, Thor was really spontaneously) and watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2. This movie is sooo cute!! ^.^ There are little soft white bouncing marshmallows with eyes and a whole family
of strawberries with arms and legs! Awww! ^_^

Michaela and I got picked up from her mother and we went straight home again. There I had to fix Michaela's finger nails and after that I had to make her a rap because she obviously couldnt touch anything with her nails! So we listened to music, laughted a lot and had a jumpstyle party in the kitchen. ^.^ And then I got really surprised by Michaela's mum who gave me more or less randomly a mongo as a present! YUM! It pays of to tell everyone the actual reason why I am here: the MANGOOOS! <33
Levi and his parents picked me up shortly after that from  Michaela's house. I was allowed to come with them to one of Levi's band's gigs. It was reeeeally really good though. First I met the other band member's and even if at least one

was obviously not really exited about my presents in the first moment, I really like the boys and enjoyed their company. (: After setting everything up, the boys and I went to Subway and I got  introduced to their normal routine before every gig. Well, even if I didn't feel hungry, it was yummy and I felt good afterwards. (: Because there weren't really many people in the bar, they started about half an hour later. The audience
changed always anyway and in some moments, there were quiet a few people. (:
I sat there with my water and just watched and listened to the band. I really enjoyed it to be honest. (x Even if it was a little bit loud and by the end of the 3 hours, I was nearly deaf. Ô.o Anyway, I helped packing up and one of the band members and the friend who was there beside of me came with the Camerons as well to sleep over at Levi's place. Anyway, we went for a McDonalds run and that was FUNNY ass ;D Anyway, so I came to 2-o'clock-in-the-morning-fries as Levi's dad didn't want his. ^.^

This nice family even dropped me off at my place after all that and I went to bed straight away. ^.^ Next morning, I had to wake up early as Levi & his mum Rachel came to pick me up. I just chilled at his place and I talked to the two boys which had stayed over night and to Levi of course. (: We made a pavalova and had a good time I reckon. (: At about 3 pm we went all together to another bar here in Mackay where Levi and the band member who stayed for the night (who is the singer of the band by the way, he also plays the guitar) had a very special gig. Just they two played their acustic guitars and sang to it. Was really different to the night befor that but I liked it. (: I came with the family for diner to the house of Levi's sister and ate with them. I had some real fun, even if the jokes and stories were mainly dirty or disgusting. :D But whatever. ^.^

YAM! Mangooooooo...!

They dropped me off at home again (thaaaank you so much for that!) and I went for a loooooong sleep. Ô.o
Yesterday, Monday, I woke up at about 10.30 am and went for a long a refreshing shower. When I got to my breakki, Antonia was just about leaving. She was invited for coffee to a friend and I stayed alone at home until about 4 pm. Anyway, I had the freing best brunch ever! I had the mango Michaela's mum gave to me in my muesli and it was just like heaven. :O Seriously, I felt so blessed to be here and it just put me in a good mood straight away. (: I spent the day with listening to loud and good music, dancing around and going crazy and crafting. I started my christmas preparations (finally)! And I went for a swim and I watched the movie 'Epic' at nighttime and stayed awake until 2 am in the morning talking to some lovely people on

Antonia left this morning at 8 am to go to town and came back at about 5 pm. So I was home alone the whole day. That was alright but, I didn't feel well and my day was just average though. Well, my morning
actually even started better than the one yesterday. I found a passion fruit in the fruit basket and just kept smelling on it, so beautiful and intense did it smell! :O Well, in the end I ate it as well. ^.^ And then I had the best mango in my life. :O I finally opened the mango Levi gave me the other day as it was ripe now. Now it smelled soooooooooooooo amazing, it's seriously unbelievable! And it tasted

sooo goood as well! :O I think I did a quiet good job as mango mummy. :P Maybe I should try it as a part time job?
I spent the rest of my day with finishing the christmas cards. And in the end I actually managed to close the envelopes happily, even if I got really frustrated half way through. Anyway, I can't show any of the card here now, otherwise the people who get one know already about it. And that's lame. :/ So yeah.. if you find one of these lovely envelopes in your letter box but in the near future, it's from me. (:
I also watched a movie today and I went for a swim. At nighttime my mood got better as the tmperature dropped and I had a very good talk with Antonia and I presented her my plans for the time until Christmas day. And it seems like I will be very busy the next days, YAY! (: Something to do! :P

The longest post I've ever written..

Okay people,
welcome back. (; I hope this post won't become too long and I don't forget anything anyway. Seriously, I have to tell you so much! So much happened in the last couple of weeks. :O
Anyway, we just start now where I stopped the last post: just after my maths exam.
The maths exam was way easier than the last one in term 3 I would reckon. But I still don't have any results, so I shouldn't judge that now. ^.^
Anyway, after the exam, I went with Rinalda to her place. She has a little sister and a little brother and I felt really home at her place. Man, how much I miss my little sister, it's unbelievable. It's really nice to be the oldest and Ive actually never thought that I need to go on the other side of the world to realise that. ^.^ Rinalda showed me her rat (such a cuty! ^.^) and later we went together with her mother and sister to the horse. Oh my god, they REALLY have a horse! It lives somewhere a little outside of town and we went to ride and feed it. That was teh first time in ages that I actually sat on a horse and it felt great. Just like it did when I was younger! At this point I thought I should maybe start taking some lessons again, but it's easier to say than actually to do. After the horse did the work, we picked some grass for it as a thank you. (: Nice, hei?
I had a very nice family diner at Rinalda's place and then the party night began. :P We decorated biscuits with icing and colourful sugar stuff and we painted each others nails and talked about boys and the Grade 11 camp. (; I had a good time.. ^.^
Next day, we got picked up by Gemma in her car. She is the only one  who already has her P-plates (I'm sure I've explained that before but anyway: first you have your L-plate for one year and your only allowed to drive with a parent next to you. After that you get your P-plates and that's like a normal licence but with some limitations.). Therefore, Gemma is allowed to drive on her own and loves it obviously. ^.^ She picked us and the twins Izzy and Lilly up and we went all together Op-shopping. We needed some clothes for the Mocktailnight for Camp and I needed an outfit for the Country night as well. Germans don't have country clothes. Or I don't. ^.^ We met so many other Grade 11s in the Opshops, it was really funny. ^.^ And first I wanted to take a really pretty black and white dress which was a little broken at the side and quiet tight, but the best thing in the first shop. The others weren't that exited and well, in the end I didn't take the dress.. I found a really good one in the last shop we went to. A really colourful and really ugly one. Perfect for Mocktail. ^.^ I wore it with a belt to give the whole thing a little shape and voilà! (; We met with some other girls at the cinema and went and watched The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Really good movie!And I like the australian cinemas. But to be honest, it is not THAT much different to the German ones. (;
This night, the twins and I slept over at Gemma's place. It was funny and we played a bordgame and we went in our Mocktail outfits to the pizza shop to pick our diner up. :D And at about midnight Gemma and Lilly went to McDonalds and got us some McFlurry. Yam! ^.^ But well, in the end I was really tired and because the twins had to leave early in the morning because of their work, we went to bed soon after McDonalds. (:
And yes, of course did the twins wake me up in the morning when they left. It's really bad, I wake up every time when somebody else is awake. So annoying! -.- Anyway, I was awake early and the twins got picked up from their mother. Gemma and I had a lovely breakfast: I had a huge bowl of muesli with banana and she had left over pizza from the other night. ^.^ And then we were a little bit bored. We made a cake and we went for a walk with the dog and we went for a drive to buy milk and later to Mount Pleasant. She showed me the Super Pet Store where she works and we had a ook at all the beautiful fish and the cute kittens and puppies. CUTE! ^.^ Seriously, I love the fish section in pet stores the best but. <3
For lunch I had the same thing as I had for breakki: muesli with banana. It was the first time in ages that I had muesli not for breakfast. Was really yummy but! In the end we watched a movie and I borrowed a puzzle from her to have something to do in the holidays. And yes. I don't really know how, but we made it and somehow it was time to get ready to go to Suse's good-bye party at her place. It was fun, especially the pool part was really good. And we had heaps of food and we played silly games and I had to eat cake with tomato sauce. I didn't died, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have to eat it. I like tomato sauce on sausage rolls better. ^.^
Some of the girls slept over at Suses place, but everyone was that tired that we actually went to bed straight away. Next morning, everyone had to leave again early because of different reasons, mainly work but. Seriously, I should think again about applying for a job. Ô.o
In the end, Suse, Shayna and I were left. So we decided to go to the movies again and show Shayna Catching fire. Suse and I have seen it the other day already, but that was okay. ^.^ So we went, and I was allowed to but only when I would find a way to get home because Antonia didn't want to come to town twice and well, she was more or less already on her way. The solution was to sleep over at Shayna's place another night and then catch the school bus home on Monday. After the movie (it was better the first time, and I don't share the opinion that Catching Fire is better than the first Hunger Game movie. Not at all.) we went to Mount Pleasant and then we visited Jarrod on our way to Shanyna's place. He was sick and therefore not at school for one whole term. But we went because Suse wanted to say 'good bye' to him. He still didn't look that well..
Shayna's boyfriend Zach came over at this day as well because we were a little bored. And in the end we had so much fun. ^.^ Especially Suse was in a weird mood and she and I layed together on the really soft carpet under the fan and laughed and laughed and couldn't stop...
We watched a few movies at night time and I was on Shayna's phone on facebook. Just because they don't have WiFi but her phone has internet connection. In the end everybody fell asleep during the last movie but me because I was too busy chatting ^.^ However, somehow everybody found a bed in the end and even Zach slept over because it was obviously too late to go home.
The next morning, Suse had to wake up pretty early because she wanted to visit her boyfriend for a last time and it took her a while to walk to him. She left after I did her hair into a pretty braid. ^.^
Zach and Shayna and I went to Canelands as far as I can remember and spend there a few hours before we had to go home because I really didn't want to miss the school bus at 3 pm. (:

And I didnt. I took my hundreds of bags of shopping with me and met Michu in the bus and talked to him for the last time in a few weeks. 4 pm and I was finally home after nerly one week at friend's places. And I was surprising energetic and jumped around and listened to music and first tidied up the shopping bags and later on packed my stuff for Grade 11 camp. :D Therefore, I slept exactly one night in my own bed to wake up the next morning at 6.15 am. Grade 11 camp! ^.^ I went with Antonia to school because I didnt want to go into the bus with my big and heavy bag. And because I am a lucky girl, I met my new friend and camp buddy Shane straight away in the office where he was waiting for the time to go past. The same as me. I asked him something about the shoes we were supposed to wear and that was teh beginning of our conversation. (: I went with him as his mum (who works in the office as well) told him to go and to help the teachers and he showed me where I can put my bag. And I had to organise some stuff for the weekend at Airlie Beach and a teacher said apparently that I didn't give back my textbook but I did and I had to solve that problem. I was a bussy girl, man! ^.^
Anyway, in the end we met all the other Grade 11s and the camp started on the school area with some warm-up exercises like 'the nearly dead bug' or however this one figure was called. :D
The teachers realised about half ways through that the two busses don't have enough room for all the bags and suitcases. So we had to pack everything out again and wait for another bigger bus. Ô_o Anyway, after a loong time in this bloody heat, the bus finally arrived and we packed everything in again. My bus buddy was Gemma and we sat togetehr, listening to her songs on the Ipod and dancing crazily to it. :P We also took about a hundred fotos and videos.
When we arrived, we had to go quickly into our cambins and then back to the camp centre where our meetings and feeds were. I can't remeber the exact order of our activities, but I can try to tell us about everyone of them. Even if not in the right order. ^.^ Well, let's start with the meals. We had a warm breakfast with bacon and egg and sausage and who wanted some cereals. But of course no muesli. Well, I ate whatever was there, even if it wasnt that awesome. Halfway through the morining, we had morning tea. Fruit and sometimes a little piece of cake or something. At 12 was lunch time, once it was a hot dog, the other times, we had different types of cold burgers. Half way through the evening, we had evening tea. ^.^ Same buffet as for morning tea. Diner was always something warm. Not awesome, but okay for a crowd of 105 students. We've spent the main part of our time in our camp groups (mine was black, BLACK ATTACK! [we lost the over all camp challenge... but anyway]) and had some exercise, mainly all about team work and trust. Was alright and I survived all of them. The last full day we had at camp, we also had a treasure hunt in our camp groups with heaps of exercises and extra points and everything. It was really exhausting because we had to run around like a bunch of weirdos but it was fun though. And we lost. Of course. :D But anyway, it was a good day. Beside of our camp group activities, we had some activities at the beach and some games against the others. They were the most fun out of all. I dont go in detail now because this post is now already soooo long and still have soooo much more to tell you about!
The first night of camp we had the Country night. Everyone was dressed up in country style (I wore my opshop stuff but it was really good, I reckon!). We started our night in a big circle, or actually two circles
. The boys inside and the girls in a cirlce around them and everybody had a partner. And well, then we got taught a country dance where you always have to change the parnter after a short dance and therefore, you wander from one partner to the next one in the circle. I reaking loved it and it reminded me so much of my ball dance lessons I had a couple of years ago. I still love it and it is still a shame that no suitable boy wants to be my partner for it! -.-" But anyway, we've danced a couple of different dances in this circle and then later we had some dances in our camp groups and later later we've danced just as a big crowd. Half way through our night, it began to rain. And it didn't stop. And it became worse and worse and we just kept dancing until we were completly wet. Even my underwear was dripping when I changed into my pyjamas this night! ^.^ And all our clothes ended on our little patio in front of our cabin and stayed there the rest of camp. :D The second night was Mocktail. Every girl had a boy but not every boy had a girl, some of them had two. Anyway, the teachers drew lots at the beginning of camp and my partner was Casey, a really lovely boy I knew only from seeing until then. Even if he haven't gone to the opshop and came in yeans and Tshirt, we had a great night together and talked more or less the whole time. (Only in case, you're reading this now

The last night was Redface night and every camp group had to show a little act in front of everybody. Black Attack was the news show in the TV and we talked and acted out different things that happened during camp. We even got a price for that. I'm so proud of myself because I was a part of the queue at the shop and a part of the beach games. Really important jobs.

Anyway, the last day of camp was Friday and mainly reflection and eating. And I bent my toenail over for the second time. I did it at the beginning of camp by running into a table. The second time I ran into another girl and bent it over really hard. It bleeded and hurt freaking much and the teachers couldnt help me as there was nothing helpful in the first aid kit. :/ At least I got a baindaid and yes. That had to be enought. At this day, we also heard a little story about warm little fuzzies and we had to write a few warm fuzzies to our camp group mates and other friend sif we wanted to. There was a envelope for every student on camp and we jsut put the right fuzzy in the right  envelop. In the end, everyone took his envelop and read the warm fuzzies. Heaps of short but lovely messages. <3 Thank you so much everyone!

When we arrived in school, it wa stime for Suse to say good bye to the most of her friends. That was a little sad.. :( Her hostdad picked us up from school and took us to Suse's place.

bags. And that was an act. Ô.o But because I am such an awesome packer, I was successful and managed to put all these mountains of clothes and other stuff in the provided bags. That took us about until her hostmum came back from work and we could head in direction Airlie
Beach together. Suse hostsister came with us as well and after about 1 and a half hours of drive, we arrived in our appartement that we all shared. Suse and I in one room, Carol and daughter in one room. I REALLY enjoyed a little luxury after the whole camping etc etc. Ô.o Anyway, on Saturday, we had to wake up early as the bus to our booked cruiser trip left at 7 am in front of our appartement. Some buttertoast for breakki and Suse and I went with three friends of the hostfamily on the Cruiser. Why Carol and daughter didn't come, I dont know. Anyway, the boat wasnt  that big and therfore it was really surprising to see Shane and his family coming on board as well! Such a surprise! ^.^ Suse and I spent the two hours drive to the station in the reef with eating the  moring  tea on the boat and talking and laughing. We had our fun. An dthe water was just awesome! Clear and blue and just like in the movies. :O I felt a little bit like in a dream, especially when we went into the booked helicopter after arriving on the station. Seriously, helicopters are so much cooler than planes! And I took the whole 10 minutes flight on video and I can try to upload it, but I

dont think that I will have much succes.. the last time I've tried it didn't work either. Anyway, we went on a half submarine as well and I took a video the whole drive long.^.^ Then we had surprising yummy lunch on the boat and the rest of the time Suse and I went snorkelling. It was the first time in my life that I went snorkelling but I loved it. It was one of the best things I've ever done... And after some complications at the beginning, it went smoothly. :P It is so much better than swimming and so much more interessting! Suse and I  bought a under water camera the other day and took some photos, but I dont know if they are good because I couldnt see where the camera is aiming on. ^.^ And I dont really know how to get these photos now out of the camera... ? :/ Anyway, I will work it out.

The two hours on the boat, Suse and I slept a little and ate afternoon tea (I ate the major part of the chocolate cake I think :D) and Suse went and bought some of the professional phots of us both. (: But yes, at nighttime we were really tired and went straight to bed after a nice diner at a restaurant.
At Sunday, we had a late brunch and went a little shopping in Airlie Beach. On our way home, we stopped at a really carzy and colourful shop and I bought a little present for Levi's birthday and we stopped at a

Suse hostmum dropped me off later at my home and I had to say good bye and thank you to Susanne. She left the next day and I wasn't able to come to the airport. It was kind of sad, but I managed not to cry because I'm going to see her again. Back in Germany. (: Suse is now
enjoying the winter and the snow and everything else that is related to christmas back in her real family. And I'm a little jealous of her because Christmas here sucks, but at the same time I'm glad that my time is not over yet and I can make more awesome experiences..

The Monday and Tuesday were the first days in a long time that I actually spent at home. I had some stuff to sort out from the week before and then I started to get bored. I read a book and I streted a puzzle and I slept a lot and I went with my hostdad and brother to a friend's place and we vistited the little puppies they have there. Such cute things! (x  I also put the Christmas tree up with Peter and his girlfriend. It was the ugliest christmas tree ever. :D It's a plastic one and we just chucked all the decoration somehow over the tree because nobody of us really felt like doing it proply. :P It looks different now and way better. But to be honest, I still prefer the real tree ones. (:

On Wednesday, I caught the school bus in the morning to go to Shayna's place. We spent the whole day more or less in Canelands with Shayna's mum and Jade and went shopping for Shayna's birthday party the next day. (: And I went to the toedoctor who had a quick
look at my bent toenail with the result, that it attched itself again and he just cut it a little and told me to bath my toe in saltwater to keep it clean. I did that at the same night but when I put another bandaid on, I realised that the nail isn't attached to the toe at all. I can bend it really far and it doesn't

time of the party with eating. :D And because there were fresh und raw veggies and fruit I ate way too much! Man, I think I've never eaten that much veggies before. :O But I came to the conclusion, that I prefer my broccoli cooked. temperature of pee..) and I felt soo full that I didn't stay long in there. And then we had to run to catch the bus. And we missed it, of course. ^.^ So we spent one hour in Canelands just wandering around until the next bus came. And you can have a guess what we did when we arrived at Shayna's place? Eating. :P We had more fruit and veggies and then we had little sausage rolls and spring rolls and tiny pies. After this prediner, we started our first movies. We had 15 to watch, but because we couldn't decide which one and then the one we started was crap, we watched one
and a half over all on this night. :D And then we had BBQ for diner but I ate nearly nothing because I was already overful. But I couldn't resist when the chocolate fondue with more fruit came. :P Oh well, I had a good night but. We called people and after a while the boys left and we girls stayed all over night. I slept in Shayna's room, in the end I don't know why but. First because I thought we didn't have enough space in the living room and I prefer to sleep in my own room in a real bed anyway. The next morning I realised, that there had actually been a bed for me. Ups. Oh well, I had a good sleep at least. ^.^
The next morning, we had all together a nice breakfast and then we watched another one of the 15 movies. 2 and a half over all then. :D And then we played the donut game. Levi (my bus buddy) and his mum came and picked me up. They were in town anyway because it was levi's birthday who is now 16 and when you're 16 you are allowed to get your L-plates. He did so. ^.^ We went to Mount Pleasant and went to buy some stuff before we drove home. Or actually, Levi drove us home. It was actually not bad at all what is really surprising I reckon. ^.^ I mean, first time driving in town and I didn't die. :P Anyway, I came over to his place because it was his birthday and as a present I made him a cake. Later on, friends of the family came over and we had all together a BBQ. And I had to demonstrate my awesome pool skills which I don't have. ^.^ Anyway, I had a really good time and heaps of fun. (:

together we went to Eungella and looked there for some platypus. We could only see turtles. But anyway, we went for a nice rainforest walk and took about 800 photos or so. ^.^ It was good, absolutly. I stayed for diner at the Camerons (that is Levi's family) and got dropped of home by his sister. Really nice family. (:

Just after I finished my preparation for going to bed, our electricity died. :O That was a little bed surprising and scary. And because no power means no light or internt, I had nothing to do but going to bed and to sleep. I was nearly asleep, as this bloody power went on again and I had to jump up to pull the Ipod out of the docking station as it started

Anyway, today I did nothing but writing this post. I was on facebook at the same time and at about 3.30 pm I decided that I had enough now and went for a swim in the pool and then for a shower. And now I'm writing it again. It's quater to 6. Ô.o

Oh well, I think that is the longest post I've ever written but now I can be proud of myself as I informed you about everything that happened the last two and a half weeks and I can sleep without a bad feeling again. ^.^

I just don't really want to spend the week with the family, I really enjoy my sleepovers and daytrips with my friends, it made my first week of real holidays pretty good. (: My hostmum brought my report cart home today, so I didn't have to go to school and get it. It's pretty good I reckon. Maths B, English, Marine and Art: A, Chemestry and Home Economics: B. I think that's okay for the first semester of an international student, hei? (;
